Before you proceed with linking your stats, keep in mind that anybody else logged in with your Times account will share your Wordle progress going forward. You may now link your ongoing Wordle progress with an existing or newly-created (free) New York Times account. I received a message asking me to link my stats to a New York Times account. You can play Wordle in the New York Times Games app, at /games/wordle, or in the New York Times News app in the Play tab.
Feedback for each guess is given in the form of colored tiles to indicate if letters match the correct position.
